COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL MEDIA
- The following terms and conditions apply unless another agreement has been made in writing between the client and Player Two Dog Training.
- By choosing to work with Player Two Dog Training, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions.
- Player Two Dog Training reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time by notice and with immediate effect.
- It is the client's responsibility to read and keep themselves updated on the following terms and conditions.
ADVICE & LIABILITY
- Any advice and behavioural modification plans created by Player Two Dog Training are done so from information given by the client and their veterinarian, where relevant. Therefore, the client agrees to be honest and upfront on all accounts throughout their work with Player Two Dog Training.
- Behaviour modification is rarely successful immediately, the process will require communication and commitment from the client. Player Two Dog Training cannot guarantee that a behaviour modification plan will work, nor is it possible to foresee any additional problems that may arise during the process. However, Player Two Dog Training will assess and/or modify any behavioural modification plans to make success as likely as possible in all cases.
- Under no circumstances will Player Two Dog Training be held responsible for a lack of time, effort and/or circumstance by the client.
- In no event will Player Two Dog Training be liable to the client or any third party for damages or losses.
- Player Two Dog Training will not be liable for any loss, injury, or liability to the client.
- Clients remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised to ensure they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party.
PAYMENT
Initial assessment payment
- The client agrees to pay the full fee for an initial assessment (including any travel) at least one week prior to the initial assessment date. The client is aware that until payment is made, their appointment slot is not confirmed and may be taken by another client.
Follow-up session payment
- The client agrees to pay for any number of session blocks (including any travel) as soon as they are agreed with the trainer (either in person or in writing). The client is aware that until payment is made, their appointment slots aren’t confirmed and may be taken by another client.
SESSION VALIDITY
Initial assessment validity
- For behavioural cases, any relevant paperwork must be received at least 24 hours before the initial assessment date. Failure to do so, may result in the initial assessment needing to be rescheduled. If the client chooses to abort the process at this point, the client will not be eligible for any form of refund.
- It is the client’s responsibility to contact their vet to obtain any respective paperwork needed before an initial assessment.
- If Player Two Dog Training decides not to continue with a case following the initial assessment, the client will not be liable for a refund of the initial assessment fee.
Follow-up session validity
- Any sessions paid for will be valid for 12 weeks from the date payment is made.
- Sessions that exceed the 12-week validity period will not be eligible for rescheduling or for a refund, unless otherwise agreed by Player Two Dog Training.
- It is the client’s responsibility to chase up any cancelled or rescheduled sessions where a date hasn’t already been agreed between Player Two Dog Training and the client.
- If Player Two Dog Training decides not to continue with a case following any follow-up sessions, the client will be given a refund of any unused sessions.
CANCELLATIONS
Initial assessment cancellations
- If the client has paid the fee for an initial assessment and then chooses to cancel, the following will apply:
- If there is more than 1 week before the initial assessment date, the client will be entitled to a full refund.
- If there is less than 1 week before the initial assessment date, the client will not be entitled to a refund.
Follow- up session cancellations
- Both the client and Player Two Dog Training are allowed a maximum of 2 session cancellations each.
- Both parties agree that cancellations can be made at any point prior to the session.
- Further cancellations can be made at the client’s or Player Two Dog Training’s discretion; however the following will apply:
- If this limit is reached by Player Two Dog Training and the client chooses not to continue with the sessions; the client will be entitled to a full refund of any unused sessions.
- If this limit is not reached by Player Two Dog Training and the client chooses not to continue with the sessions; the client will be entitled to 50% of the cost of any unused sessions.
- If this limit is reached by the client; then Player Two Dog Training is no longer obligated to continue with the client and the client will not be entitled to any refund.
- If this limit is not reached by the client and Player Two Dog Training chooses not to continue with the sessions; then the client will be entitled to a full refund of any unused sessions.
COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL MEDIA
- The preferred method of communication is by email or WhatsApp, where applicable.
- Signatures are not required to start a contract; verbal communication, email or other exchanges are legally binding.
- Player Two Dog Training agrees to first obtain permission from the client (whether verbally or in writing) before making any form of post on social media or otherwise
