THE PROCESS
1. Before I work with any dog, there will be an initial assessment which involves getting a detailed history from you about your dog, as well as an in-person assessment of your dog. An initial assessment is charged at a flat rate of £180 and normally takes around 2-3 hours. These will either take place at my clinic or I am happy to travel to you!*
*All clients are given a 1-hour travel allowance, however please be aware that distances over an hour’s total travel time from my home address will be liable to travel charges at half my standard rate per hour travel time.

The initial assessment can be done virtually or in person and payment will need to be made ASAP to confirm your booking.
2. Once payment has been made and a date/time agreed for the initial assessment, you will be sent a vet referral form that will need to be completed by your veterinarian and returned to me before the initial assessment.
3. During the initial assessment, we will be working through a form where you will be asked a range of questions regarding your dog’s behaviour, diet, health, and day-to-day schedules. There will also be a practical part of the assessment where I will work with you and your dog to get an idea of your dog’s temperament, motivation, and intelligence, as well as your own handling skills.
4. After the consultation, we will then arrange a follow-up schedule of sessions to coach you through your dog’s undesirable behaviour(s). These are charged at £60/hour and typically I will be travelling to you for these sessions. Discounts given for blocks of 3, 6 or 9 hours!

If you are unhappy with me for whatever reason following the initial assessment, then you are not obligated to have any follow up sessions with me.
